You are the steward of a Frank Lloyd Wright building which closed in 1981. The roof leaks and the masonry of the brick parapet wall on the roof needs to be repaired. If you are the SC Johnson company, you do the repairs necessary to maintain the landmark Research Tower...without question. Fisk Johnson, the company head, recently revealed that the company will be spending $15 million on projects to preserve the Research Tower and the Administration Building, in addition to $8 million spent recently. These photos of the roof work were taken June 28. The scaffolding on the north side of the Tower is used to carry materials to the roof.
