Ennis House Update

Robert Leary of the Ennis House phoned Sunday with good news. The First Republic Bank has given the Ennis House Foundation an extension, through November, on a $2 million note that was due today.

Arrangements were made with the assistance of Ronald Buerkle who is a board member of both the Foundation and Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy.



There have been some “significant potential buyers and lookers,” said Leary. He added that one offer was recently declined because it was “unreasonably low.”

Wow- if I could afford it I'd buy it but it's like lightyears out of my price range! lol I hope they get things squared away soon (maybe do a fund raiser?) and thanks for the beautiful photos.
