I loved pan's labrynth and want to see the orphanage. I like his movies but still haven't seen much. I hope he does a better job in keeping to the books unlike Jackson. Even though I loved the LOTR movies my two favorite parts were cut out. Both involving Saruman. When he and Gandolf had thier little standoff when saruman was let out of the tower. and when Saruman wrecked havoc on the shire at the end of the book. The battle scene in the two towers was a little drawn out and took a lot of time in the series when that battle was only 12 pages long. it was done really well and im not saying i wasnt entertained. So what do you guys think? Del Toro or Jackson? Tuesday April 29, 2008

Well i only think the charges are fair enough. it's very sad that this girl had to die. I go to a church that believes in healing because of Christs redemptive works upon his resurrection. Ive seen numerous healings from broken legs to cancer ,bad eye sight and other diseases in my family and testimony of friends. If the symptoms are there or even if not the doctors are always here to confirm your status. She should have gotten medical attention while the parents got more understanding on their faith and healing. It seems like they got the milk but needed the meat. These parents should be held accountable and this little girl should have never had her life lost. How sad. Monday April 28, 2008

Send your donations to planned parenthood for the race of your choice!
Posted by: racinenativemn at 3:36PM CST on April 28, 2008
here's the phone conversation: Autumn Kersey of Planned Parenthood in Boise: Good afternoon, this is Autumn. Donor: Hello, Autumn, I'm interested in making a donation today. Kersey: Fantastic! Donor: What about abortions for the underprivileged minority groups? Kersey: Oh, absolutely. We have, um, in fact, uh wonderful, fantastic news. We just received a very generous donation to our women in need fund. Donor: Wonderful. I want to specify that abortion to help a minority group - would that be possible? Kersey: Absolutely. Donor: Like the black community for example? Kersey: Certainly. Donor: OK, so the abortionI can give money specifically for a black baby, that would be the purpose. Kersey: Absolutely. If you wanted to designate that you wanted your gift to be used to help (an) African-American woman in need, then we would certainly make sure that that gift was earmarked specifically for that purpose. Donor: Great. Because I really face trouble with affirmative action, and I don't want my kids being disadvantaged, you know, against black kids. I just had a baby; I want to put it in his name, you know. Kersey: Mmhmm, absolutely. Donor: So that's definitely possible. Kersey: Oh, always, always. Donor: So I just wanna - can I put this in the name of my son? Kersey: Absolutely. Donor: Yeah, he's trying to get into colleges, and he's going to be applying, you know, he's justwe're just really bighe's really faced troubles with affirmative action. Kersey: Mmhmm. Donor: And we don't, you know, we just think, you know, the less black kids out there the better. Kersey: (Laughs) Understandable, understandable. ... Um David, let me, if I may, just get some sort of specific general information so we can set this up the right way. You said you wanted to put it in your son's name, and you would like this designated specifically to assist (an) African-American woman who's looking to terminate a pregnancy. Donor: Exactly, and yeah, I wanna protect my son, so he can get into college. Kersey: All right. Excuse my hesitation, um, um, this is the first time I've had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I'm EXCITED, and I wanna make sure I don't leave anything out. Should Barack Obama debate?

Hillary recently wanted to debate and his advisor said absolutely no debates. why not? do you think he should? is debates to tough for him and should he just stick to hope speeches with no idea what he stands for? McCain gets the racists vote.

Barack Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe says racists are probably going to vote for John McCain in November if Obama is the Democratic presidential nominee. Asked by National Journal’s Linda Douglas if race was going to be a problem for Obama in the general election, Plouffe said: “We really don't think so. I mean the vast, vast majority of voters who would not vote for Barack Obama in November based on race are probably firmly in John McCain's camp already.” But he noted: “We have won white voters, particularly white voters under 60, in a lot of states. We've won white men voters in most of the states we've competed in.” Race could actually play out in Obama’s favor, Plouffe suggested, telling Douglas in remarks reported by Ben Smith’s blog on Politico.com: “If Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee, I think turnout amongst African-Americans, turnout amongst all voters under 40, and our ability to register new voters is going to be a very important piece of the puzzle.” Plouffe also said that Democrats who are voting for Hillary Clinton in the primaries “won't agree with John McCain on issues like the economy and health care. And so I think that we are going to get the vast, vast majority of Democratic voters.”
I was going to put a source for this article but i thought it would be fun to have HaleBopp find it. Good Luck! Saturday April 26, 2008

7 planned parenthood locations are accused of taking money for black babies only to be aborted. Is this racism? since an unborn child is considered not alive maybe it's not black until it's born. 1/3 of all abortions are black, but if the founder of planned parenthood Margaret Sanger had her way it would be all blacks. Al Gore is bad for the planet...

This sounds like a good read: The Really Inconvenient Truths: Seven Environmental Catastrophes Liberals Don't Want You to Know About--Because They Helped Cause Them by Iain Murray Talk about really inconvenient truths--that's one of the many you'll find in Iain Murray's rollicking exposé of environmental blowhards who waste more energy, endanger more species, and actually kill more people (yes, that's right) than the environmental villains they finger. Did you know that estrogen from birth control and "morning after" pills is causing male fish across America to develop female sex organs? Funny how "pro-choice" and "environmentalist" liberals never talk about that. Or how about this: the Live Earth concert to "save the planet" released more CO2 into the atmosphere than a fleet of 2,000 Humvees emit in a year? We hear a lot about AIDS in Africa, but the number one killer of children in much of Africa is malaria--and guess who was responsible for banning the pesticide that used to have malaria under control? Iain Murray, a sprightly conservative environmental analyst with a long record of skewering liberal hypocrisy, has dug up seven of the all-time great environmental catastrophes caused by the Left and exposed them in The Really Inconvenient Truths. Murray lays bare: * How ethanol, the liberals' favorite fuel, is destroying the world's rainforests--and could cause global food shortages Friday April 25, 2008

Since Hillary made it obvious she's going to be around till the convention should Obama be the better candidate and step down for the party? would that lock a 2012 victory? Wesley Snipes and taxes. jail time or probabation?

Still not sure how i feel. im not big on paying taxes(i don't pay much of anything anyways) but understand we must follow these laws as absurb as they are. i'm sure once you actually make something of yourself and actually have to start paying these high taxes it can be a bit frustrating. How do you rule? jail time or probation? Tuesday April 22, 2008

The original targets of the Ku Klux Klan were Republicans, both black and white, according to a new television program and book, which describe how the Democrats started the KKK and for decades harassed the GOP with lynchings and threats. An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964. The documentation has been assembled by David Barton of Wallbuilders and published in his book "Setting the Record Straight: American History in Black & White," which reveals that not only did the Democrats work hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations, they started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem. "Of all forms of violent intimidation, lynchings were by far the most effective," Barton said in his book. "Republicans often led the efforts to pass federal anti-lynching laws and their platforms consistently called for a ban on lynching. Democrats successfully blocked those bills and their platforms never did condemn lynchings." Further, the first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention, no Democrats voted for the 14th Amendment to grant citizenship to former slaves and, to this day, the party website ignores those decades of racism, he said. "Although it is relatively unreported today, historical documents are unequivocal that the Klan was established by Democrats and that the Klan played a prominent role in the Democratic Party," Barton writes in his book. "In fact, a 13-volume set of congressional investigations from 1872 conclusively and irrefutably documents that fact. "Contributing to the evidences was the 1871 appearance before Congress of leading South Carolina Democrat E.W. Seibels who testified that 'they [the Ku Klux Klan] belong to the reform part – [that is, to] our party, the Democratic Party,'" Barton writes. "The Klan terrorized black Americans through murders and public floggings; relief was granted only if individuals promised not to vote for Republican tickets, and violation of this oath was punishable by death," he said. "Since the Klan targeted Republicans in general, it did not limit its violence simply to black Republicans; white Republicans were also included." Barton also has covered the subject in one episode of his American Heritage Series of television programs, which is being broadcast now on Trinity Broadcasting Network and Cornerstone Television. Barton told WND his comments are not a condemnation or endorsement of any party or candidate, but rather a warning that voters even today should be aware of what their parties and candidates stand for. His book outlines the aggressive pro-slavery agenda held by the Democratic Party for generations leading up to the Civil War, and how that did not die with the Union victory in that war of rebellion. Even as the South was being rebuilt, the votes in Congress consistently revealed a continuing pro-slavery philosophy on the part of the Democrats, the book reveals. Three years after Appomattox, the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting blacks citizenship in the United States, came before Congress: 94 percent of Republicans endorsed it. "The records of Congress reveal that not one Democrat – either in the House or the Senate – voted for the 14th Amendment," Barton wrote. "Three years after the Civil War, and the Democrats from the North as well as the South were still refusing to recognize any rights of citizenship for black Americans." He also noted that South Carolina Gov. Wade Hampton at the 1868 Democratic National Convention inserted a clause in the party platform declaring the Congress' civil rights laws were "unconstitutional, revolutionary, and void." It was the same convention when Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest, the first grand wizard of the KKK, was honored for his leadership. Barton's book notes that in 1868, Congress heard testimony from election worker Robert Flournoy, who confessed while he was canvassing the state of Mississippi in support of the 13th and 14th Amendments, he could find only one black, in a population of 444,000 in the state, who admitted being a Democrat. Nor is Barton the only person to raise such questions. In 2005, National Review published an article raising similar points. The publication said in 1957 President Dwight Eisenhower, a Republican, deployed the 82nd Airborne Division to desegregate the Little Rock, Ark., schools over the resistance of Democrat Gov. Orval Faubus. Further, three years later, Eisenhower signed the GOP's 1960 Civil Rights Act after it survived a five-day, five-hour filibuster by 18 Senate Democrats, and in 1964, Democrat President Lyndon Johnson signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act after former Klansman Robert Byrd's 14-hour filibuster, and the votes of 22 other Senate Democrats, including Tennessee's Al Gore Sr., failed to scuttle the plan. DAVID GERGEN: What I found really interesting, though, on the Democratic side, there's no push for timetables in this hearing, and both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were talking about Barack saying a "measured" wherewithal. And Hillary Clinton was saying an "orderly "withdrawal. Both of them I think are now setting themselves up to be the president and commander-in-chief who had pushed want to go us out. Not to be irresponsible, but clearly the Democrats want to push, push, push to get out, but they're no longer saying we gotta do it in six months, we got enough -- don't have to do it like that. I think -- I think they're being more sensible in that sense, and I think voters will find that more appealing. RUSH: Whoa ho-ho! Be still, my beating heart! "Voters will find it more..." Does this mean that every sentiment that these Democrats have expressed for the last four years -- "Out now! Get out now! Bring them home!" -- all of these rank ads, all of these rank websites, all of the waving the white flag of surrender by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, does David "Rodham" Gergen mean to tell us -- that that was unreasonable? Damn straight he does. The only thing is, why didn't he say it while they were doing it? Because of course David "Rodham" Gergen only wants to focus on their positives. "What I found really interesting on the Democrat side, there's no push for timetables this hearing, no push to get us out now." Right! I told you. I hope you remember. I was the first in your life to articulate to you that no matter what happens in Iraq, if the Democrats are elected president, they aren't pulling out. They are not going to saddle themselves with the collar of defeat. They're not going to do it. So he has a little pan here. He says, "Well, clearly the Democrats want to push, push, push to get out, but they're not saying we have to do it in six months. We don't have to do it like that. I think they're being more sensible in that sensible than that. I think voters will find that more appealing." Wait a minute, David! I thought the polls all showed: get us out! I thought the polls all showed the American people were fed up with 4,000 soldier deaths? I thought the American people wanted us home. They never have. The polls have never said it. It's shaping up exactly as I told you it would. It's not even the number one campaign issue, and the Democrats didn't want to make it a campaign issue yesterday. They had a chance to bring it back front and center as a campaign issue, and they didn't. That was one of the most boring hearings, other than listening to General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker, and they could have taken care of business there in one-tenth the time that they took. |
