No, not at all. When we drink beer, we drink beer that we like. In the fridge now? Guinness, Peroni, and Spotted Cow. In the summer, we will also have Miller Lite not only for drinking, but also for boiling brats.
The economy and gas prices has not affected my spending habits in any way at all. Although I do wince a bit more now at the gas bill since my summer car requires premium, $4.20 a gallon last night.
Yes it has changed my habits.............. I no longer stock beer in my fridge, so the family mooch pop-ins have stopped........now I'm the one popping in on friends with beer................and any old beer will do...............
I been drinking beer 5 days nights in a row now..18 pack of miller high life after work with the work buddy...woot wooot for summer time drinking beer with buds at home
No it has not changed my habits, I guess I am buying more in the stores and trying new beers at home instead of going to the bar and doing it.... but I just think I have tired of the bar scene.
I prefer Blue Moon, but it's too expensive. If you can find Blatz in 24 bottle cases, it's GREAT. The new MINA (sp?) out of Monroe is making some FINE reasonable priced beer now also. The Lazy Mutt is really good. It comes in an 8 pack. (unusual) They now have a DIRT CHEAP lite and lager available, but I have yet to try them. They are in 6 packs for like $2.50 each in cans.
I agree hmmmmm, the fines and laws are what have changed my habits. It's nice to have friends come over or go by them, but once again, we always have to worry about who is going to drive home.
I like the new Landshark beer brewed in Margaritaville, have to put a lime in it though. It puts Corona to shame!!
I don't go out to the bars and rarely to never eat or drink out anymore. I don't drink beer anymore. I no longer purchase 12 packs of diet coke and have switched to calorie free lemonade. The powder stuff you mix with water. I got laid off in January. It will be a miracle if I survive this. I'm really scared somedays. LOL AA.
wow with the economy tanking because of GWB it seems a lot of peoples habits arnt changing. i went to walmart-god i hate that place-it was hoppin. despite the medias take on the economy i see things havent changed.gas stations, stores, restaurants seem to be overcrowded everytime i go out. Time for a beer!!
Actually, I have changed some habits. Instead of going out to eat a few times a week, I go out every other week. I drive a LOT less and combine my running. Last week I needed groceries and something from Menards. It was stop and get gas, into Menards, then (shudder) into WalMart for groceries. Except for a few doctor appointments, I've let me car sit in the driveway.
Oh yeah, things have changed, I just hate beer is all. Tacos and Pizza are the only reasons for beer now.
