Wrong Part for Tv-Samsung 55inch. projection

Still having problem with 55 inch. projection Tv.-Samsung.  Another part ordered same one- CRT Blue. Does not work with convergence.  I have talked to so many people on the phone I can"t keep the story straight.  One says wrong part, Samsung says it"s the right one.  And on the other hand we were told no longer available.  Our TV is only 3 years old.  I am giving up.    Called Samsung and I was told they would have Tech-support look into it, and call me back.  I think they changed the part or modified it and it"s not updated on their website.   Has anyone run into this situation?   This TV was not cheap - 1,999.99. We have red and green color but no blue. Any information would help.

With the change over to DLP for projection screens, production of CRT projection parts was probably stopped about the same time you bought your TV.

This is a tough situation.

I am sure you have gone been going through the place that you bought the tv. But you might want to try other shops or stores that sell Samsung. They might know of a different tech service.

If you do web searches of the TV's model number, you might find entire sites dedicated to problems and repairs.

I have a 56inch Samsung LED DLP and couldn't be happier with it. But, I haven't had to deal with tech support or customer service yet (and hopefully will never have to).

This is very frustrating. This is a beautiful set. We went through Sears and the techs come from Greenfield,Wi, A&E. WE did so alot of homework on the web. Not much out there for our problem. I was thinking the same thing getting another opinion. The first CRT blue was ordered by the tech and it was wrong. but Samsung says it"s the right one for our TV. We ordered one from Samsung and techs came out again, and couldn"t get it to converge. I called Samsung and they said it was the right part for this model. Now when we send it back we have to pay 15% restocking fee which I wasn"t told about. I am going to fight that one. Samsung left off with me they would check with Tech support and see whats going on, but I am not counting on them. The part was 282.50 and the service call was 105.10. Somebody knows somethiing but they are not telling the whole story. Our model number is HCN5527W. We have been going back and forth since Nov-14. I am just about to give up. Thanks for the information anyway.

55 inch TV? WOW! That must be huge... we don't even have cable.
Good luck-- with something that large, how can you move it?

It has wheels on the bottom and rolls our easy. I am only 95lbs. and I can move it out. I just hope we can get this fixed.

But how do you lift it onto a trailer or into the back of a truck? How in the world did you get it home? I don't think I've ever seen a tv that big.
Hope you can get it fixed, too:-)

It was delivered to our house by Sears, three years ago. You use a Dolly and two strong Men. We didn"t bring it in, Sears handeled it. I will keep you posted on the fixing of the Big TV.
