Your band can be on Center Stage.
Center Stage, the JT’s local band spotlight, is now a popular stop on our award-winning Web site. It still appears in Thursday's Out & About section in the newspaper, but it's here, too. And we want to help you make our audience your audience. But we need something from you. (There’s always a catch, right?) Send us a high-resolution (300 dpi or better) picture of your band, the band’s name, biographical information, name and position of each band member and name and telephone number of a contact person. Sounds pretty standard, huh? Well, here’s the new part:We also want digital music or video files of your music. It should be in a standard format that is easily playable on computer media system (an mp3 or .wav file that plays Windows Media, Quicktime or Real Player, etc.) And if your band has a Web site, we’ll link to that, too. The deadline is the Thursday before the item will appear in the Out & About section. It will be posted on this weblog on Monday of that week. Send your information via e-mail to Loreen Mohr.
