you are far better off going to the village meetings on tuesday and meeting face to fae with these guys. i know it sucks, and trust me i understand your frustration, but these guys have jobs too. they also have families and responsilbilties to them. however, they should take the 2 seconds to let you know that they have read and are going to address your issues. i slid last night thru 90th and broadway. going uphill. i watched karasek skid thru right after me when i was hauling in the groceries. doenst he have a radio, and wouldn't he contact public works? stu goes to the meetings on a regular basis, drop him a line on the lame journal times mail, if anyone he will do his best to help you out. i hope that he runs for board seat. he is a good man.

Thanks for the info. Something really needs to be done. My vehicle broke down 12/31 (wouldn't start). I called the PD to let them know that I wouldn't be able to move to the "correct" side of the street. The dispatcher told me that they don't give out passes. Nice huh!!!!! I told her then they can come over and push me over to the other side, I was so waiting for a ticket this morning, because I was going to fight this. But when I woke this morning the PD didn't issue me a parking ticket.

NO Pass - What the? I called them early pm, to give them ample time of notice. It's a HOLIDAY I couldn't get a tow!!

i know one guy on the dispatch and he is a pretty ok guy, however i have had issues with the others as well. but in all honesty jansen cant do it all. he shouldn't have too. he has become sturtevants whipping boy, and it really isnt all him. i have had some words back and forth with him and trust me, he got alot of food on his plate of stuff to do. call the dpw. you know i hate to sound like a dickweed but they plow for crap. since they finished 90th street they spend more time on this than on 11. it gets a little ridculous. i drove around the village the other night. the side streets were slick to say the least but 90th between two dpw trucks and the front end loader were running up and down it. but i will tell you all this, if you need to address issues go to the meetings. remeber to go with the attitude of asking your dad for the keys to his car though. if you get shitty, they wont help. if you dont want to go by yourself drop me a line and i will go with you, beans
