Things everybody knows: I'm very outspoken politically. I am very direct. I like to have fun with how I address a subject in my blog,
http://blueracine.blogspot.com/
I am very serious when discussing many issues in peson and probably give the impression I'm more aggressive than I really am. I'm a tech idiot.

Things not many people know: My husband and I are closer than most people would guess. I love to garden, sew and cook. I watch way too much TV, but never sitcoms-I hate them for the most part. I'm a sci-fi/fantasy fan. I have read so many books (until my eyes went so bad and it's become difficult to read for long periods) I have lost track of the count and I have about 8 just sitting around waiting to be read. I'm more conservative than most people realize because my liberal beliefs are the ones that catch all the attention. I'm in constant search for a hobby that I can really get into. I have an exceptionally close relationship with my son and his wife. I'm not nearly as bitchy as people think.
Things very few people know: I have very deep spiritual beliefs that drive me politically. I almost never talk about my spiritual beliefs in public because I consider that to be too personal. I have four friends I would trust with my life and I consider that to be one of the greatest rewards of my life aside from my family.
